Livestock Guarding Dog And Small Stock Intern at Cheetah Conservation Fund

Uazundaiye Tjiraso currently serves as an Administrative Officer at the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform since November 2022, and has also held positions as a Livestock Guarding Dog and Small Stock Intern at the Cheetah Conservation Fund and a General Volunteer at the Opuwo State Veterinary Office since March 2022. In these roles, Uazundaiye has been involved in various tasks, including formulating and feeding dogs, performing administrative duties, issuing livestock movement permits, treating pets and livestock, and raising awareness about human-wildlife conflict solutions. Additionally, Uazundaiye works as an Agricultural Consultant for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, focusing on farming resilience. Uazundaiye is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a focus on Animal Science from the University of Namibia, expected to be completed in 2029.
