Joseph Villafuerte

Joseph Villafuerte has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Joseph started their career as Vice President/General Manager and Director of Human Resources at PSI Group of California in 1991. Joseph then served as Vice President and Director of Human Resources at SPS Associates, Incorporated from 1995 to 1999.

In 1999, they joined COR-O-VAN Moving & Storage as Director of Human Resources. In this role, they coached and counseled a large number of employees, implemented competitive compensation and benefits programs, and resolved grievances. Joseph also focused on employee development and training, resulting in increased job satisfaction and reduced turnover.

From 2010 to 2013, Joseph worked at Direct West Management, LLC as Principal, utilizing their HR expertise to support the organization. Joseph then joined Gino Morena Enterprises LLC in 2013, holding the position of Director of Human Resources.

Their most recent work experience includes their role as Human Resources at Restaurant Cheetah, starting in 2016.

Joseph Villafuerte received a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from San Francisco State University, which they attended from 1988 to 1991. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from San Jose State University, where they studied from 1968 to 1971. Additionally, they have a certification as a Senior Profession Human Resources from the Certified Compensation Professional institution.
