Sonu Saha

Sonu Saha has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. They began their professional career in 2018 as a Campus Ambassador for Internshala, where they promoted Internshala Training & Internship opportunities and conducted seminars for their peers. In 2019, Sonu served as an Intern at North-Eastern Hill University. Later that year, they became the Student Coordinator of the Training and Placement Cell at the university, managing campus placement drives and acting as a liaison between corporate entities and students.

In 2020, Sonu joined Infosys as a Systems Engineer Specialist Trainee, completing training in Microsoft Technology Stack and developing a dummy E-Commerce website. They then transitioned to the role of Systems Engineer Specialist and worked as a Digital Specialist Engineer, where they developed a data migration and transformation application using Azure Datafactory and qualified for the Power Programmer assessment.

Sonu's most recent work experience is with Progress Chef, starting in 2022. They initially joined as a Software Engineer I, co-developing Chef InSpec's resource generator functionality and enhancing multiple resources for InSpec core and InSpec Kubernetes Resource Pack. They also developed an internal serverless application involving AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and Docker. Sonu currently holds the position of Software Engineer II at Progress Chef, working on an internal application and expanding their skills in Go programming.

Sonu Saha attended North-Eastern Hill University from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in IT.

Before that, from 2014 to 2016, Sonu Saha studied at Bolosing Academy and obtained a Higher Secondary degree in Science.

Prior to that, from 2013 to 2014, Sonu Saha attended Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) and completed their Matriculation, specializing in High School education.

Additionally, Sonu Saha has obtained several certifications. These include C# (Basic) and SQL (Basic) certifications from HackerRank, as well as a DevOps Foundations certification from LinkedIn. They have also completed the Git Essential Training: The Basics course from LinkedIn Learning and earned a Master In-Demand Professional Soft Skills certification from LinkedIn.

Furthermore, Sonu Saha has achieved the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. They have also obtained the Problem Solving (Basic) certification from HackerRank and the Teamwork Foundations certification from LinkedIn.

In 2020, Sonu Saha completed the JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures certification from freeCodeCamp. Additionally, they earned a Python (Basic) certification from HackerRank and achieved the Scientific Computing with Python Developer Certification from freeCodeCamp in 2020.

In 2019, Sonu Saha completed the A developer's guide to the Internet of Things (IoT) course offered by IBM and obtained the Blockchain: Foundations and Use Cases certification from ConsenSys Academy.

Moreover, Sonu Saha earned the NOC - Programming in C++ certification from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in 2018. They also completed the ISP 9.0 - Completion certificate from Internshala in the same year.

In 2018, Sonu Saha obtained a Certificate of Training in Web Development from Internshala.

Additionally, Sonu Saha achieved the International Olympiad of English certification from Silver Zone in 2015, and the International Olympiad of Science certification from Silver Zone in 2014.
