Emil Karlsson

Emil Karlsson has work experience in various roles and companies. Emil is currently working as a Cloud Consultant at Advania Sverige since May 2021. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and CEO of Cheffle, a platform for the hospitality industry, from October 2015. Emil also worked at Accenture as an Intelligent Cloud & Infrastructure Consultant from December 2019 to May 2021, and as an Infrastructure Consulting Analyst from August 2017 to December 2019. Emil founded their own company, ECK Consulting, in December 2013, where they worked as a self-employed IT consultant until January 2020. Before that, Emil was a Partner at JE Design Handelsbolag, a wholesaler in the profile industry, from May 2012 to December 2019. Emil also gained experience as a Master Thesis Student at Polismyndigheten from January 2017 to June 2017, and as a QA Engineer I at Accedo.tv from June 2016 to November 2016. Emil's earlier roles include being a Process Analyst and an Improvement & Performance Manager at Ericsson from September 2014 to December 2015, and May 2014 to August 2014 respectively. Emil was also Vice Projektledare at IN Sektionen from September 2014 to February 2015, and IT Communications Manager at Armada from February 2014 to December 2014.

Emil Karlsson's education history starts in 2009 when they enrolled at Blackebergs Gymnasium, where they studied Matematik och datorvetenskap (Mathematics and Computer Science) until 2012. Emil then continued their education at Kungliga tekniska högskolan / KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2017. At KTH, they pursued a degree in Civilingenjör Informationsteknik (Master of Science in Information Technology). In 2015, they also obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Management from the same institution.

In 2016, Emil Karlsson participated in an exchange program at the National University of Singapore as an M.Sc. student in Industrial Management.

Aside from their formal education, Emil has also obtained various certifications. In 2017, they achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2019, they completed the Elements of AI course offered by Linköpings universitet. Emil also obtained the SAFe 4 Agilist certification in April 2019 and the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification in July 2020, both from Scaled Agile, Inc.
