Jan Costa-Thiele

Jan Costa-Thiele has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 1996 at Siemens as a Marketing Manager, Jan then worked at SAP as an Account Manager before joining Gigaset, where they served as the Vice President of Sales for ten years. Jan then moved on to HTC, where they held positions as Head of Sales for DACH and later became the Country Manager for Nordics & Benelux. In 2016, Jan joined Sony Mobile Communications as the Country Head for Germany and later became the Head of Region for Market Unit D A CH / NL. Following that, Jan worked as the Head of Mobile Business Germany at Sony Electronics. In 2020, they joined Conbato GmbH, serving as a Member of the Management Board. In 2021, Jan took on the role of Head of Governmental Business for Samsung Group at Cheil Germany GmbH. Additionally, they are set to become a board member at Bündnis für Bildung e.V. in 2023.

Jan Costa-Thiele attended the University of Hamburg from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a Diplom Kaufmann degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre (BWL), which translates to Business Administration in English. Additionally, they obtained a Graduate in Business Management (MBA) certification from the University of Hamburg in March 1996.
