Alexandros Efthymiou

Alexandros Efthymiou is an experienced football coach currently serving as the Head Coach at Athenians Football Club since June 2024 and a Youth and Development Coach at Chelsea Football Club since July 2021. In this role, Alexandros oversees coaching sessions in line with the club's philosophy and leads the u89’s at Chelsea Development Centre. Additionally, Alexandros has been a Sports Coach at SPORKIDS CONNECTION LTD since September 2017, delivering high-quality coaching sessions to children and young people across more than 20 schools and nurseries weekly. Previous coaching positions include Head Coach for the U18’s teams at European Football Academy and Pure Football Academy, and coaching at Juventus Academy London for u18’s and u10’s. Alexandros also contributed to King's College London Women's Football Club as a coach for the 3rd team. Academically, Alexandros holds a Master's degree in Sports Management from Coventry University and a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of West Attica.
