Fabian Unwin is a seasoned Senior Football Data Analyst at Chelsea Football Club since July 2013, specializing in data analytics to support informed decision-making for key stakeholders. Unwin played a pivotal role in establishing the club's football data analytics team, providing crucial insights to performance departments and Sporting Directors. Previous roles include Loan Player Analyst, where Unwin advanced the loan player programme for player development, and Scouting Analytics Assistant at SKI- OG FOTBALLKLUBBEN LYN, alongside coaching various youth teams. Unwin's diverse background also includes serving as a Second in Command (Sergeant) in the Royal Norwegian Air Force and obtaining multiple degrees in sport management and data analytics from Loughborough University, The Open University, Multiverse, and training at the Royal Norwegian Air Force.
