James Murray

James Murray currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Business Operations at Chelsea Football Club since August 2023, also holding the roles of Chief of Staff and Interim CEO of the Chelsea Foundation. Additionally, James is a Non-Executive Director of the Scottish Women's Premier League since July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Chief of Staff to the CEO at AC Milan from March 2019 to August 2023 and various leadership positions at Arsenal F.C. from April 2013 to February 2019, focusing on business strategy. James’s career began as a Strategy Consultant at Accenture from May 2010 to April 2013, where expertise in growth strategy and operational design was developed, following a role as General Manager UK at b&p Communication and an internship at The Communication Group. Academic credentials include a BA in Politics, Economics, and Italian from Durham University, obtained between 2005 and 2009.
