Nick Chadd has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of sports science and strength and conditioning. Nick currently holds the position of Head of Performance Sciences at Chelsea Football Club. Prior to this, they served as the High Performance Sport Accreditation reviewer and assessor at THE BRITISH ASSOCIATION OF SPORT AND EXERCISE SCIENCES, and as the Head of Sports Science and Strength and Conditioning at Sport Lisboa e Benfica.
Before joining Chelsea, Nick worked at City Football Group as the Lead Sports Scientist and Strength and Conditioning Coach. Nick also gained valuable experience at Manchester City Football Club, where they served as the Head of Sports Science (Academy) and the Interim Head of Performance (Academy).
Nick's previous roles include working as a Senior Rehabilitation Scientist at the English Institute of Sport, a Senior Strength and Conditioning Coach at London Wasps RUFC, and a Strength and Conditioning Coach at UK Athletics and the English Institute of Sport.
