Craig Silversides

Craig Silversides has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the IT industry. Craig is currently the Director of Corporate Enterprise Applications at Chem-Trend, where they are responsible for overseeing the implementation of IT systems to support business operations.

Prior to their current role, Silversides served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Cyan Technology, Inc. for six years. In this position, they led the IT strategy and implementation, focusing on improving cost effectiveness, service quality, and business development.

Before joining Cyan Technology, Inc., Silversides worked as the Director of Information Technology and Finance at Stirling Biopower. Here, they were responsible for the strategic direction and financial performance of the corporate IT systems, while also overseeing day-to-day technical support and IT management operations.

Silversides also served as the Director of Information Technology at STM Power, Inc., where they had similar responsibilities in overseeing the strategic direction and financial performance of IT systems.

Earlier in their career, Silversides worked at Chrysler as a Sr. Programmer Analyst. Here, they managed PLM efforts, PDM system implementation, and ERP customization, specifically focusing on federal and state emission certification compliance requirements.

Throughout their career, Silversides has consistently demonstrated their ability to provide guidance and leadership in IT strategy, culture, and compliance, while also improving cost effectiveness and service quality. Craig has a strong background in overseeing IT operations and ensuring that systems are aligned with business objectives.

Craig Silversides has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Michigan State University. Craig also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Central Michigan University.
