Shirley Zhu

Shirley Zhu is an experienced tax professional currently serving as the Global Tax Director at Chemelex since August 2025. Prior to this role, Shirley held the position of Senior Tax Manager at Transocean from July 2018 to June 2025, and previously worked at KPMG US as an International Tax Manager from October 2017 to June 2018. Shirley's early career at KPMG included roles as an International Tax Senior Associate and International Tax Associate from October 2013 to September 2017, as well as a Tax Intern at KPMG LLP in 2012. Additional experiences include internships at O'Malley & Associates and Boxer Property, as well as a position as a Front Desk Associate at Rockwell Career Center. Shirley holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business, completed from 2010 to 2013.
