Alisher Kamalov

Alisher Kamalov has a diverse range of work experience. Alisher is currently the Director of Project Controls at Chemex Global since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Head Coffee Roaster at Steppe Coffee Co, where they independently roasted coffee on a small scale and focused on improving their coffee roasting skills. From 2013 to 2023, they worked at Kiewit in various roles, including Senior Project Controller, Project Financial Controller, and Business Specialist. During their time at Kiewit, they led a team in developing a new Operations Finance training program, managed a multi-billion dollar LNG construction project, improved operational efficiency in Seattle, and set up accounting and cost control processes for Kiewit Mexico Division. Alisher also worked as a Financial Manager at Rice Coffeehouse, where they oversaw cash flow management and financial reporting. Additionally, they gained experience as an Accounting Intern at Radial Drilling Services, Inc.

Alisher Kamalov attended Rice University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, and a Minor in Business. In 2014, they also obtained a certification in NCCER Field Safety from NCCER.
