James Arnett

James Arnett is an experienced professional in the engineering and commissioning field, currently serving as the Commissioning Manager at Chemex Global, Inc. since October 2019, where responsibilities include leading global commissioning startup jobs and authoring procedures related to safety lockout/tagout systems. Previously, James held the position of Field Engineer – Startup/Commissioning, leading a major commissioning job at Niger Delta Petroleum Resources in Nigeria. With a background at MATHESON as a HyCO Process Technician I, James managed operations in a Shell Chemical refinery and was promoted to increasingly responsible roles at Chevron from 1993 to 2018, culminating as Operations Shift Supervisor. Additionally, James co-owned Wesnett, Inc. and worked as an Environmental Leak Detection Technician Contractor for Chevron. James holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Instrumentation Technology from Bishop.
