Harry Wierenga

Harry Wierenga has extensive maritime experience, currently serving as Captain at Chemgas Shipping BV since January 2016, following a similar role at Essberger Tankers from April 2008 to December 2015, where responsibilities included master of chemical tankers. Prior to these positions, Wierenga held the title of Chief Officer at Broere Shipping from May 2000 to April 2008 and served as 2nd Officer at Vopak/Broere Shipping between December 1992 and May 2000. Wierenga's maritime career began as a Seaman on deck and in the engine room with Nedlloyd from May 1985 to June 1987. Educational qualifications include attendance at Zeevaartschool Abel Tasman from August 1984 to January 1990, and completion of Mavo at Mavo Bedum from 1979 to 1984.
