Matthew Strauss currently serves as a Captain with the U.S. Secret Service since January 2011, bringing extensive experience in emergency medical services from previous roles as a Flight Paramedic with STAT MedEvac from 2008 to 2011 and as a Paramedic for the City of Alexandria, Virginia, from 2007 to 2011. Matthew Strauss holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Quantic School of Business and Technology, along with a Certificate from the Key Executive Leadership Program at American University and another Certificate in Leadership in Homeland Security from Harvard Kennedy School. Additionally, Matthew Strauss earned a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies: Government and Health Sciences from Liberty University and received paramedic training from The Center for Emergency Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, further complemented by a High School Diploma from Penn Hills Senior High School.
