Chief Officer at Chemgas

Stefan van Delft began their work experience in 2016 as a Trainee at Van Oord Marine B.V. Stefan then joined Chemgas Shipping BV in 2018 as a Trainee until July of that year. In September 2018, they worked as an A/B at Chemgas before being promoted to 3rd Officer in January 2019. In August 2019, they became a 2nd Officer and held that position until February 2022. Currently, Stefan is working at Chemgas as the Chief Officer starting from February 2022.

Stefan van Delft attended NHL Hogeschool from 2014 to 2018, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Maritiem Officier (Marof). In addition to their degree, Stefan has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Stefan received a Marcom-A certification from Agentschap Telecom in December 2015 and a Designated Security Duties certification from Nova College, Maritieme Academie Holland in June 2016. Stefan also completed various safety and maritime training courses, including Medical care, Medical First Aid, Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats other than Fast Rescue Boats, Basic Training, Advanced Fire Fighting, Ship Security Officer, and a 3-days Shiphandling course. Furthermore, they obtained a certificate of competency and a Certificate of Proficiency advanced training for liquefied gas tanker cargo operations from Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport in August 2023 and October 2023 respectively. Hogan Resource Management from Hogere Zeevaartschool Antwerpen in November 2021.
