Our department has a strong research culture, with funding of over INR 300 million from various national and international agencies. Our faculty members are experts of international repute in their domains. The department’s research carried out under the umbrella of the Center of Excellence in Advanced Materials and Green Technologies (CoE-AMGT), focuses on solving critical challenges in energy, defence, aerospace, sustainability, and biomedical sectors. 
We also offer high-quality academic programs namely, B.Tech Chemical Engineering, M.Tech Materials Science and Engineering, and Ph.D., with curricula that balance theory and practice, as we prepare our students for bright careers in industry and academia.
