Kaixiang Lin, Ph.D.

Kaixiang Lin, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the fields of battery technology and entrepreneurship. Kaixiang is currently the co-founder and CEO of Chemix, Inc., a company established in 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Cuberg from 2018 to 2021, initially as a Battery Scientist and later as a Senior Scientist. At Cuberg, they played a pivotal role in leading the core electrolyte R&D for high-energy-density Li metal batteries, managing the advanced development R&D team, and facilitating collaborations with key partners from academia and industry. Before joining Cuberg, they served as a Postdoc at Stanford University from 2017 to 2018.

Kaixiang Lin, Ph.D. received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Toronto in the period from 2009 to 2013. Kaixiang continued their education at Harvard University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the field of Organic Chemistry and Electrochemistry.
