Ting Zhang

Ting Zhang serves as the Director at Hengrui Pharmaceutical Co Ltd since May 2022, leading various oncology projects, including a Her2-ADC in Phase III and multiple DDR inhibitors in various clinical stages. Zhang's responsibilities also extend to cardiovascular and metabolic research, having discovered small molecules for therapeutic applications in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and Type 2 diabetes. Prior to this role, Zhang held the position of Senior Research Scientist at Shanghai Chempartner, managing a team focused on cell-based assays for cancer metabolism and autophagy inhibitors, while ensuring positive client interactions. Zhang’s career includes experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Western University, where research centered on Rac1 GTPase's role in cardiac arrhythmias following ischemia/reperfusion. Educational qualifications include a PhD in physiology with a focus on signal transduction in inflammation and a Master's degree in physiology related to obesity from Western University.
