Jeff Steen

Jeff Steen is a seasoned pharmaceutical professional with extensive experience in bioanalytical assay development and validation. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Scripps Research since October 2021, Jeff previously worked as a Scientist at Ambrx, where responsibilities included developing pharmacokinetic, anti-drug antibody, and cell-based neutralizing antibody assays for antibody drug conjugates, as well as managing GLP CROs for method validation and sample testing. Prior roles include Senior Project Analyst at Intertek, where expertise in GLP, non-GLP, and cGMP environments was applied, and Chemist I at INOVA Diagnostics Inc., focusing on ELISA control manufacturing. Jeff began a career as a Manufacturing Assistant at Alidex Inc. after earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Zoology from Humboldt State University.
