Zihong Guo

Zihong Guo has a extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and research industries. In 1998, they started their career as a Senior Research Chemist at MacDermid. Zihong then went on to work as a Research Scientist at 3-Dimensional Pharmaceuticals Inc. from 2000 to 2002. After that, they joined Daiichi Asubio Medical Research Laboratories as a Senior Scientist from 2002 to 2005. In 2005, they worked as an Associate Research Fellow at MacDermid Inc. From 2006 onwards, they joined Shanghai ChemPartner (ShangPharma Group) and held various roles including Senior Vice President, Vice President, Executive Director, and Senior Director. Since 2016, they have been serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of ShangPharma Innovation Jiangxi (ShangPharma Group).

Zihong Guo obtained a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 1992 and 1998. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry at Lanzhou University from 1978 to 1982.
