Frank Weegar is an experienced manufacturing engineer with a long-standing tenure at Chemprene, where employment spans from February 1998 to the present. Prior professional roles include serving as a warehouse supervisor at Transkrit Corp. from 1988 to 1994 and as a senior lab technician at Pawling Corp. from 1982 to 1988. Frank's educational background includes an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Natural Resources/Conservation from Dutchess Community College, completed between 1977 and 1979, and further studies at State University at Oneonta from 1979 to 1982.

Chemprene was founded over 50 years ago to manufacture military coated fabric products. The product range was first expanded to include automotive and specialty diaphragm applications, and conveyor belting was added in the mid-1960’s. Today, Chemprene manufactures all three product lines in a 225,000 sq. ft. facility. We are a leading manufacturer of lightweight rubber conveyor belting, coated fabric materials, diaphragms and other precision molded products. Chemprene is a division of Ammeraal Beltech Holding BV. Chemprene’s philosophy of continuous improvement is carried out through an advanced combination of Statistical Process Control, 6S Fundamentals and Lean Manufacturing.
