Heather Reid

Heather Reid has extensive experience in quality management and health, safety, environment, and quality (HSE) roles within various organizations. Currently serving as the HSE Performance Improvements Lead at Chemring since May 2021, Heather has previously held several senior positions at Chemring Technology Solutions, including Head of Governance and Delivery Controls, Head of HSSEQ, and Head of Quality. Prior experience includes roles such as Design Assurance Manager at Aviation Traders Ltd and Quality Manager and QHSE Manager at AmSafe Bridport. Heather's career began in the Royal Air Force, where roles included Quality and Continuous Improvement Instructor and Engineering Instructor, spanning from July 1995 to October 2012. Heather's background combines mechanical engineering expertise with a strong focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement practices.
