Anurag Kak

Anurag Kak has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1993, Anurag held multiple roles across various companies including Lafarge, Sierra View Company, TRP Construction, and Michigan Dept. of Natural Resources. In 2011, Anurag became the Country Manager at Lafarge Sri Lanka, overseeing the reorganization and diversification of the Board of Directors. From 2016 to 2017, they served as the Head of Commercial Transformation for the Trading Business at Holcim, managing a global sales portfolio. From 2017 to 2019, Anurag worked as the Global Performance Manager for Cement Industrial Performance at Holcim, managing a global portfolio of cement production plants. Currently, Anurag is the Vice President of North America at Chemtrade, overseeing a $600 million business portfolio and managing various aspects of the company's operations and strategies.

Anurag Kak holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategy & Marketing from Yale School of Management, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Construction Management from the University of Cincinnati between 1991 and 1993. Anurag also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) "Honours" degree in Civil Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. In addition to their academic qualifications, Anurag Kak has obtained the Not-for-Profit Governance Program certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors in 2021.
