Julie Lau

Julie Lau has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles. Julie is currently the VP of Engineering and Business & Operational Excellence at Chemtrade, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Apotex Inc. as the Director of Site Engineering from March 2018 to November 2021. Julie also held the position of Associate Director of Facilities Engineering from April 2017 to February 2018. Before Apotex Inc., Julie worked at Aveva Drug Delivery Systems as an Associate Director of Facilities Engineering from April 2015 to March 2017. Julie started their career at Apotex Inc. in 2003 and held various managerial positions including Manager of Capital Projects, Manager of Building Systems and Engineering Services, and Manager of Capital Projects and Engineering Services. Julie also served as a Project Leader, starting in January 2003. Julie Lau began their professional career as a Project Manager at Aecometric Corporation in June 1999 and worked there until January 2003.

Julie Lau attended the University of Toronto from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering in Chemical Engineering.
