Payam Farahbakhsh, P.Eng., MBA, is an experienced maintenance and reliability professional with a strong background in engineering and management. Currently serving as Maintenance Manager at Chemtrade since April 2021, Payam has focused on aligning resources with plant needs and implementing modern maintenance practices. Prior roles include Maintenance and Reliability Leader at Cargill, where strategies for productivity and accountability were developed, and Mechanical Engineering Manager at Pacific Newspaper Group, providing leadership in a unionized environment. Payam's extensive experience encompasses various engineering and management positions across different companies, supported by a B.A.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia and an MBA from City University.
