Karl F. Krebs

Karl Krebs has extensive work experience in various financial and banking roles. Karl served as the Executive Vice President, CFO, and Treasurer at Chemung Canal Trust Company since 2013. Before that, they held the position of EVP CFO at Financial Institutions-Five Star Bank from 2009 to 2013. Krebs also worked as a Senior Finance Specialist at WVES LLC in 2009 and as the President of Robar General Funding Corp from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Financial and Operations Officer at Wyoming County Bank from 2004 to 2006. Krebs held the position of Chief Financial Officer and Program Director at HSBC Brokerage USA from 1999 to 2004 and as SVP CFO at KeyBank from 1992 to 1999. Karl began their career in financial reporting at Goldome Bank from 1983 to 1989. Throughout their career, Krebs has gained a diverse range of skills and expertise in finance, accounting, reporting, treasury operations, and mortgage lending.

Karl Krebs pursued their education with dedication and completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Canisius University between 1979 and 1983. Building upon this foundation, they went on to acquire their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from the University at Buffalo from 1986 to 1989.
