Matthew Gibson

Matthew Gibson currently serves as the Head of Philosophy and Religious Education and Religious Education Teacher at Cheney School. Since June 2023, Gibson has been teaching Religious Education at KS3 and KS4, alongside A-Level Philosophy and A-Level Economics. Prior to this role, Gibson completed a PGCE at the University of Oxford, with placements at multiple schools including Cannon Lane Primary School and Pinner High School. Experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Bentley Wood High School, as well as working as a private tutor. Additional roles in various organizations include Music Editor at Bizarre Culture and web editor for UF Uppsala. Gibson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Durham University, and has pursued further studies at the University of Essex, KU Leuven, and Uppsala University.
