Faraz Shahid

Faraz Shahid has a strong background in procurement and supply chain management. Their most recent role was as the Director - Supply Chain Center of Excellence at Cheniere Energy, Inc., a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at bp for over 18 years, holding various roles such as Procurement Director, Projects PSCM Director, Performance Manager PSCM, Wells Category Delivery Manager, and PSCM Manager. During their time at bp, they were responsible for strategic relationship management, procurement management, planning and risk management, supplier selection, and contract management. Before joining bp, Faraz worked at ICI Pakistan as an Assistant Manager in Local Development & Contracts.

Faraz Shahid has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management from Robert Gordon University. Faraz also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from GIKI. Additionally, they have a certification as a Chartered MCIPs from CIPS, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification is unknown.
