Matthew Toney

Matthew Toney is a highly experienced electrical technician, currently serving as a Sr. Electrician at Cheniere Energy, Inc. since November 2022. With a solid background in instrumentation and electrical expertise, Matthew has previously held the position of Lead I/E Technician at BASF, where responsibilities included PLC and DCS start-up and maintenance. Additional experience as an I/E Technician at Enterprise Products, Koch Industries, and Austin Industrial showcases proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems, calibrating various instruments, and working with high voltage equipment. Matthew's educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Technology from Lamar University (2024-2026) and an Associates of Science in Instrumentation Technology from Lamar State College-Port Arthur (2008-2011).
