Ronald Tanner

Senior Vice President,terminal Operations at Cheniere Energy

Ronald Tanner, PE has over 35 years of work experience in the energy and maritime industries. Ronald started their career in 1969 as a Commander in the U.S. Coast Guard, where they served for 20 years. In 1989, they transitioned to the private sector and joined Trunkline LNG Company as a Plant Manager. After 16 years, they moved on to Cheniere Energy in 2005, where they currently hold the position of Senior Vice President, Terminal Operations.

Ronald Tanner, PE obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Marine from SUNY Maritime College, where they studied from 1965 to 1969. Ronald later pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Marine Engineering, and Naval Architecture from the University of Michigan, which they completed between 1973 and 1975.
