Martin Roffe has a diverse work experience in the field of research. Martin started their career as a Visiting Researcher at Karolinska Institutet in 2016. Martin then joined A.C.Camargo Cancer Center in 2015 as a Researcher Scientist, where they worked until October 2021. After that, they joined CHEO Research Institute as a Visiting Researcher from June 2018 to January 2020. Currently, starting from September 2022, they are working as a Research Associate at CHEO Research Institute.
Martin Roffe has an extensive education history in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology. Martin first attended the University of Buenos Aires from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a Biochemistry Degree. During this time, they also completed a Scientific Internship in Biochemistry from 2004 to 2006, also at the University of Buenos Aires.
In 2006, Martin pursued further studies at Unifesp - Universidade Federal de São Paulo, where they completed their PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from 2006 to 2011. Following their PhD, they conducted a postdoctoral research at A.C.Camargo Cancer Center from 2012 to 2015, specializing in Oncology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biology.
Additionally, Martin completed a Scientific Internship in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at McGill University in 2010. Most recently, in December 2020, they obtained a certification in "Curso de Qualificação dos Comitês de Ética em Pesquisa que compõem o Sistema CEP/CONEP" from Hospital Moinhos de Vento.
Overall, Martin Roffe has acquired a strong academic background through their various degrees, internships, and postdoctoral research, emphasizing their expertise in biochemistry and molecular biology, particularly in the field of oncology.
