Melissa Bellocchi-Hull has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Melissa currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at the CHEO Research Institute. Prior to this, they worked at Ridout & Maybee LLP for a significant period, starting as an Accounting Clerk in 1997 and progressing to Director of Human Resources & Accounting. During their tenure at Ridout & Maybee LLP, they held various managerial positions and played a key role in both human resources and accounting functions. Before joining Ridout & Maybee LLP, they worked as an Accounting Clerk at Kent & Edgar, Burke-Robertson LLP Barristers & Solicitors, and Perley-Robertson, Hill & McDougall. Their work experience highlights their expertise in human resources, accounting, and payroll administration.

Melissa earned a Bachelor of Human Resources & Labour Relations from Athabasca University, with a specialization in Human Resources & Labour Relations. In 2018, they attended McGill University's Executive Institute, where they completed a Mini MBA program. Melissa also pursued additional courses at McGill University's Executive Institute, including the Executive Development Course (EDC) - Mini-MBA Cycle I, the Advanced Management Course (AMC) - Mini MBA - Cycle II, and the Integrated Management Thinking - (IMT) Mini-MBA - Cycle III. Additionally, they hold a Diploma in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology.

Melissa has obtained several certifications that further enhance their expertise. Melissa attained the designation of Certified Human Resources Leader from the Human Resources Professionals Association in 2014. Melissa is also a Certified Human Resources Professional, a Certified Payroll Manager from The Canadian Payroll Association, and a Payroll Compliance Practitioner from The Canadian Payroll Association.
