Griffin Taylor

Intake Worker (cyc) at CHEO

Griffin Taylor is an experienced professional in the field of child and youth care and social work, currently serving as an Intake Worker with the CHEO Centralized Mental Health Intake Team since November 2022. Previously, Griffin held multiple roles at the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa, including Youth Counsellor for various programs focused on emergency shelter, transitional housing, and mental health support for youth. With a background in facilitating psychoeducational and peer support groups at MAX Ottawa, Griffin has also contributed as a Mental Health Service Navigator for the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Additional experience includes roles in educational support, frontline outreach, private respite care, and recreational programming, complemented by a 3-Year Advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Care from Algonquin College and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Vancouver Island University.
