Wesley Owiti

Co-Founder & CEO at Cherehani Africa

Wes is a social entrepreneur who is hell-bent on experimenting and gathering knowledge in financial inclusion; especially for women and girls living in rural and under-served markets in Africa. He is an enthusiastic proponent of the notion that disruptive ideas can change the world.

Wes went through a Global Executive Leadership Training at the University of Wisconsin - Stout. He has a Master's Degree in Project Planning and Management from the University of Nairobi and holds a Bachelor's of Commerce degree from the same university.

He has received many accolades including Kenya Top 40 Men Under 40 award in 2014 and was selected as a Fellow for the inaugural Levi Strauss & Co. Collaboratory (San Fransisco, CA). Wes is a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow for the Young African Leaders Initiative.
