Julia Chang

Julia Chang is an accomplished Project Engineer with extensive experience in the construction and engineering fields. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Cherne Contracting Corporation since October 2024, Julia previously held the position of Project Manager at Summit Design + Build, overseeing several significant projects including multi-family residential and medical/commercial builds in Austin and Chicago. Julia began the career as an Estimating Intern at F.H. Paschen and progressed through various roles, including Project Engineer and Field Engineer at Mortenson, contributing to high-profile projects such as the QTS Data Center. Academically, Julia holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
