Matt Kimbrell

Matt Kimbrell serves as the Assistant Superintendent for the Cherokee County School District in Georgia, a position held since July 2022, after previously serving as Principal at RM Moore Elementary. Prior experience includes Principal roles at Camden County Board of Education from July 2018 to June 2022, and Clinch County Board of Education from July 2012 to June 2018, overseeing Clinch County Elementary and Middle Schools. Additionally, Matt Kimbrell was a member of the Board of Directors for Nashville Credit Union from 2011 to June 2016. Matt Kimbrell's educational background includes an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Valdosta State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University, along with studies at Cambridge College and Presbyterian College.
