Robert Appleton

Robert Appleton is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in the New York State Police, holding various leadership roles since 1996, including Lieutenant Colonel and Assistant Deputy Superintendent of Employee Relations. Appleton has overseen the Uniform Force for the East Region, directed the Aviation Unit, and managed the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, demonstrating proficiency in incident response, personnel management, and community relations. In addition to law enforcement, Appleton has contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Marist College and previously at Norwich University, focusing on public administration.
