Brantley Day has extensive experience in community development and operations management. Brantley is currently the Community Development Agency Director at Cherokee County, a role they started in July 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Community Development for the City of Woodstock, Georgia from August 2015 to July 2021. Before that, they were the Director of Operations at the Cumberland Community Improvement District from July 2011 to August 2015. Brantley also held the position of Community Development Director at the City of Holly Springs, Georgia from August 2005 to July 2011. Brantley's earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Community Development and City Planner at the City of Riverdale, Georgia, where they managed a team and oversaw various departments.

Brantley Day has a solid education history. Brantley'searliest education was at Woodward Academy, where they completed their primary and secondary education between 1988 and 1994. Brantley Day has also obtained the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification from the American Planning Association in July 2007.
