Allison Gaynor, MPH, currently serves as a Health Communication Specialist with Cherokee Federal, contributing expertise to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since March 2023. Previously, from February 2022 to March 2023, Allison held the role of ORISE Health Communication Fellow at the CDC, where responsibilities included curating COVID-19 training for health professionals, enhancing training resources, developing social media messaging, and analyzing evaluation data to optimize communication strategies. Experience also includes a summer internship at the Putnam County Department of Health, handling communicable disease data and community engagement during vaccination clinics, as well as serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Penn State University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health in Global Health from Penn State College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University, supplemented by a study experience at the University of Sussex.
