Cheryl A Williams, MPH, RDN, LD, CHES has extensive experience in public health, nutrition, and wellness. Cheryl A is currently working as a Public Health Analyst at Cherokee Federal, contracted at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Cheryl A Williams, MPH, RDN, LD, CHES's educational background includes a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus in Health Education from New Mexico State University. Additionally, they completed a Dietetic Internship at Emory Hospitals, specializing in Clinical Nutrition. Prior to that, they obtained a DPD (Didactic Program in Dietetics) from Hunter College, where they studied Food Science and Nutrition. Earlier in their academic career, Cheryl earned a BA in English from Long Island University.
In addition to their formal education, Cheryl has obtained several certifications. Cheryl A became a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) in 2017 through The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing. Cheryl A also holds a Certificate of Training in Adult Weight Management from the Commission on Dietetic Registration, which they obtained in July 2011.
