Eli Carrillo has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Eli currently serves as the Medical Director at Santa Clara County Fire Department. Prior to this, they worked as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine and as a Visiting Team Medical Liaison for the National Football League. Eli also held positions at UMass Memorial Medical Center as an Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine, Alameda Health System as an Emergency Medicine Resident, and UCSF Medical Center as a Staff Research Associate. Additionally, they worked as a Course Associate at Stanford University's Program in Human Biology.
Eli Carrillo attended Stanford University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Human Biology. Eli then pursued further education at the University of California, San Francisco from 2008 to 2012, obtaining a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. In 2016, they enrolled at UMass Chan Medical School for a fellowship in EMS - Prehospital Care, which they completed in 2017.
