Software Engineer III at Cherokee Federal

Daniel Taylor has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 as an Environment Science Technology Health (ESTH) Section Intern at the United States Embassy in Moscow. Daniel then served as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant from 2013 to 2014 for the Fulbright Association. In 2015, they worked as an Account Manager for Germany at MMP Living.

Moving into the tech industry, Daniel became a Junior Web Developer (Intern) at BrightBean Labs in 2016, where they built relationships with clients, collaborated on application design, and developed web-based dynamic applications and cross-platform mobile apps. Daniel then joined TransUnion in 2017 as a Software Developer, focusing on front-end development, ensuring software quality, and creating data visualizations.

In 2017, Daniel joined Mapleton Hill as a Software Engineer, working on a healthcare web app and utilizing various technologies such as Angular, Sass, Bootstrap, D3.js, and .NET Core. Daniel then transitioned to Ntirety in 2018 as a Full Stack Developer, gaining experience in full-stack development.

In 2020, Daniel worked as a Front End Developer at Bluebird Botanicals. Daniel is currently employed at Cherokee Federal as a Software Engineer III, involved in building maps for the US Geological Survey using AWS, Python-Django, Node, .NET, Windows Forms, React, Docker, GraphQL, Postgres, Terraform, and Gitlab.

Daniel Taylor attended Western Governors University from 2020 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Development with a focus on Computer Science.
