Ryan Reeves has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ryan started their career as a GIS Technician, Research Assistant, and Horticulturalist for various organizations from 2000 to 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Geologist Intern for the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). Following that, they became self-employed as a Geologist and GIS Consultant, working on projects in West Texas Exploration and Bonneville Basin Exploration from 2013 to 2015. Ryan then joined Cherokee Federal in 2015, where they served as a GIS Specialist and Developer for the U.S. Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Planning and Integration, as well as for the Fort Bliss Environmental Division. In 2018, they joined SpecPro Management Services as a GIS Specialist and Developer for the Joint Base San Antonio Planning Office. Currently, Ryan is employed at Cherokee Federal as an Environmental Liabilities Financial Analyst since February 2019.

Ryan Reeves has a solid educational background in the field of environmental science and technology. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from The University of Texas at El Paso between the years 2010 and 2012. Prior to that, they attended Angelo State University from 2007 to 2010 and focused on Natural Resource Conservation. Later, they pursued further studies at the University of Southern California from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Geographic Information Science and Technology.
