Danny Martinez

Danny Martinez has over 15 years of experience providing a wide range of audit, consulting, and training services to governmental, non-profit, and tribal organizations. Danny has held positions at various companies such as Cherry Bekaert, FORVIS, Carr, Riggs & Ingram, RPC CPAs + Consultants, and REDW. In their roles, they have specialized in technical accounting issues, including the implementation of new standards such as GASBs 87 and 96. Danny has also been involved in grants management and has served as a subject matter expert on COVID-19 related funding. Danny has authored articles on upcoming pronouncements and provided training on accounting issues. Currently, they are the Managing Director at Cherry Bekaert, leading the Government and Public Sector Accounting Advisory team.
