Michael Grim

Michael Grim, JD, MBA, serves as the Director at Cherry Bekaert since August 2023. Previously, Michael was a Tax Partner at Mountjoy Chilton Medley LLP from June 2015 to April 2024, leading the firm's State & Local Tax Group, with expertise in federal, state, and local taxation, as well as civil and criminal tax controversy and planning. Before that, Michael practiced as an Attorney within the Tax & Finance Practice Group at Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP from December 2005 to June 2015. Michael began a lengthy career at United Parcel Service, working from 1987 to 2005, ultimately holding the positions of Airline Tax Director and Airline Contracts Manager. Michael holds a J.D. from the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, an MBA from Indiana University Southeast, and a BA in Political Science from the same institution.
