Jae McQueen

Jae McQueen possesses extensive experience in social work and mental health, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Mental Health at Cherry Creek School District since July 2022. Prior to this role, Jae worked as a School Social Worker at Denver Public Schools, focusing on social emotional wellness services for students. A significant portion of Jae's career was spent at the University of Denver's Graduate School of Social Work, where contributions included roles as Coordinator, Faculty Development and Support, Associate Professor of the Practice, and Associate Dean for Online Education, directing the MSW@Denver online program and integrating innovative educational practices. Jae has also held positions that emphasize clinical supervision and crisis intervention, including roles at Savio House and as a Child Protection School Social Worker. Educational credentials include a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Social Work from Winthrop University, complemented by licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado.
