Shelby Zimmerman

Shelby Zimmerman serves as the Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor at Cherry Hills Community Church since May 2021, where responsibilities include providing operational and logistical support for events, managing departmental budgets, and coordinating outreach activities. Additionally, since October 2022, Shelby has been an Executive Assistant to the Creative Arts Pastor while also working as a Solar Power Professional at Powur, PBC, and as a Senior Office Support Administrator at Garver since May 2019. Previous roles at Cherry Hills Community Church included Organizational Development Manager, where Shelby led staffing processes and staff development initiatives. Early career experience includes leadership positions at the YMCA of South Hampton Roads, focusing on program development and personnel management. Shelby holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a focus on Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Technology from Virginia Tech.
