Chad Johnson

Chad Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment banking and business development. Currently serving as Managing Partner and Managing Director at Cherry Tree Companies since July 2007, Chad focuses on client engagements related to business sales, acquisitions, and institutional growth capital. Chad holds board positions at Extempore and previously at Early Learning Labs, Inc., SIIA, and The M&A Group LLC, the latter of which involved private investment banking services as Vice President. Prior roles include General Manager at Ultralingua, Inc., and Manager of Business Development at PLATO Learning. Chad co-founded Relan and has experience as a Venture Capital Analyst at Sherpa Partners. Chad's early career includes roles at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. as a Certified Financial Planner and training manager. Chad holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management and a BA in Political Science and Government from the University of Minnesota.
