Susan Stephenson has a diverse work background that spans several industries. Susan began their career at the Baltimore Metropolitan Council in 1996, working as a Public Outreach Coordinator and Transportation Planner. From there, they moved on to the Center for Clean Air Policy, where they served as a Transportation Projects Coordinator for three years. In 2002, they embarked on a freelance career as a Writer, Photographer, and Graphic Designer before joining MARAMA as a Diesel Program Manager in 2003. Susan worked in that position for eight years before transitioning to the role of Project Manager at Emissions Advantage in 2011. In 2013, they joined EcoLogix Group as a Senior Associate. Most recently, Susan held two roles at Chesapeake Conservancy, starting as a Grant and Contracts Specialist in 2019 and currently working as the Director of Federal Business Development.
Susan Stephenson completed their Bachelor's degree in History at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, from 1990 to 1994. Susan then pursued a Masters degree in Political Management at the George Washington University, from 1994 to 1995.
